Chili Cook-Off


2017 Chili Cookoff Small

The Bullard Area Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to host the 2nd Annual BULLARD'S BEST CHILI COOK OFF, held on Saturday, April 8, 2017.

Events included in this BACC project included: retail and business vendors, chili contestants, community games and an afternoon of music and entertainment.  Big Mike's Grillhouse was on hand for beer and wine purchases.  Project profits were for the sole purpose of the Red, White and Blue Festival to be held November 4, 2017.

Entry cost was:  $10.00 per person (age 5 and under are free admission)  Entry allowed all you can eat chili sampling.

Draft Beer/Wine Tickets: $5.00 per 16 oz Drink/Cup  (***No outside alcohol was brought into event. It was a zero tolerance policy. Cook Off Security had the right to inspect all property or persons entering the event for compliance and safety***

Prizes won were as follows:

First Place - Trophy and $500 cash sponsored by Republic Services and Capco Construction - Red Hot Hilli Peppers - John & Lindsay Hill

People's Choice - Trophy and $250 cash won by The Bullard Rotary Club - Magin LaGrave & Joseph George

Showmanship Award - Trophy and $150 cash was won by The Hillbilly Chili Committee of Sharie & Alex Withers, Ashley & Dillon Myrick
